From Application to Go-Home Day
Bringing home a Villainous Felines Maine Coon begins long before go-home day. Our adoption process is designed to be personal, transparent, and easy to follow, from your first application and kitten selection through preparing for their arrival home.
01.Apply
Complete our adoption application so we can learn more about your household, lifestyle, experience with pets, and what you’re hoping to find in your Maine Coon. This helps us get to know you and make thoughtful placement decisions.
02. CONNECT
Once we receive your application, we’ll reach out to answer questions, discuss current or upcoming kittens, and learn more about your preferences. Finding the right kitten is about more than appearance. Personality, lifestyle, and connection matter too.
03. RESERVE YOUR KITTEN
Once you’ve selected your kitten, a $500 non-refundable deposit secures their reservation and is applied toward the total purchase price. Reservations are confirmed once the deposit has been received.
04. FOLLOW ALONG
While your kitten grows, we’ll share photos, updates, and milestones along the way. Your kitten is raised in our home with daily handling, socialization, and exposure to the everyday sights and sounds of family life.
05. GET READY
As go-home day approaches, we’ll provide the information you need to prepare for your kitten’s arrival. Your kitten will receive age-appropriate veterinary care and vaccinations and will be spayed or neutered before leaving Villainous Felines.
06. WELCOME THEM HOME
Kittens typically go home around 13–15 weeks of age, depending on individual development and readiness. Local pickup, delivery, and flight nanny or airport delivery may be available. And our support doesn’t end at go-home. We’re here as a resource throughout your kitten’s life.
